FAQ – From Chapter Development Committee Co-Chair Justina Mann

Question: Who can be nominated for an officer position?

Answer: Current AMAC members can be nominated as officers. There is no formal restriction regarding regional residence for being an officer. The membership will decide who they want to represent the chapter as officers. A member may not reside in Texas but may have a business presence and a network that allows them to contribute to the AMAC Chapter. Therefore, there are no exclusions in that regard.

Question: Voting Eligibility: Who is allowed to vote for the chapter officers?

Answer: AMAC members in good standing within the state of Texas are allowed to vote. AMAC National will validate the members eligible to vote when ballots are received. AMAC National has agreed to offer support to facilitate the voting process to ensure eligibility and fairness.
