I am J. Goodwille Pierre, Please vote for me for the position of Southwest Regional Director for the Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC). With over 26 years of dedicated service and a deep passion for our mission, I am ready to take our region to new heights.

My Journey with AMAC

My journey with AMAC began in 1998 as a member of the host committee for the 1999 Annual Business Diversity Conference in Houston, Texas. Since then, I have remained committed to advancing AMAC’s goals, serving in various roles including pro bono General Counsel during Shelby Scales’ tenure as Executive Director. In this role, I developed board conflict of interest forms and contributed to the creation of key AMAC policies.

Proven Leadership

In 2012, I served as the Southwest Regional Director and was part of the planning committee for the 19th Annual Airports Economic Opportunity & Policy Forum. My commitment continued as I joined the planning committee for the 2017 Annual Airport Business Diversity Conference in Houston.

Currently, I am an active member of the AMAC Performance and Governance Committee, where I have served since 2021. I have facilitated AMAC board governance and constitution training sessions in 2021 and 2023, and I am leading the development of the Houston, Texas AMAC Chapter alongside the Houston Airport System. I have been a $5000 AMAC Chrome sponsor for the past five years.

A Little About Me

I bring over 30 years of experience in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) management, specializing in Minority, Woman, Small, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (MWSDBE) consultation, disparity studies, labor and diversity compliance, and program administration. I am a licensed patent and trademark attorney and the founder of The Pierre Firm PLLC, Goodwille Pierre LLC, Success in Business® and fileyourtrademark.com LLC.

I am married to my wonderful wife of 29 years, Jacquelyn Tinsley, a native of Houston, Texas.  I also have two beautiful daughters Joi Candace, 27 and Jada Elaine, 21.

Vision for the Future

My vision for the Southwest Region is to foster a more inclusive and diverse aviation industry, creating opportunities for minority businesses to thrive. I believe in the power of collaboration, transparency, and innovative policy-making to achieve our goals.
