Esther’s story began on the Caribbean island of Dominica, where at age eight, she discovered her passion for construction while working alongside her father on remodeling projects. 🛠️ Her father, a carpenter, instilled both valuable skills and a deep love for the trade in Esther and her siblings.

In the early ’80s, drawn by the booming housing market, Esther and her family moved to Houston, Texas. She knew from a young age that she wanted to be an entrepreneur in construction and hopefully own her father’s business. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science from Texas A&M. As one of the few women—and the only Black woman—in her program, her determination never wavered.

🚀 Breaking Barriers and Building Dreams

Upon graduating in 1997, Esther joined Jacobs Engineering as a project engineer. Though she faced challenges as a young Black woman in a male-dominated industry, she focused on building the knowledge and experience that would later fuel her entrepreneurial journey. 🏢✨

Within a few years, Esther pursued her dream of business ownership. She established Fronza and Francis LLC to create a space where she and others could thrive. Yet her path wasn’t without obstacle.
