As we close out a successful 2024, we want to thank you for supporting Success in Business®, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to educating, equipping, and empowering disadvantaged business owners to succeed. This year, we achieved incredible milestones, and with your help, we can ensure an even greater impact in 2025.
In 2024, we made a difference:
- April 18, 2024: Hosted the inaugural SIBGOV® Harris County MWBE Procurement Forum and Empowerment Workshops.
- June 14, 2024: Celebrated our third annual Galveston Juneteenth Edition Procurement Forum and Workshops.
- October 18, 2024: Organized our fifth annual SIBGOV® MCTX -Missouri City, TX Small Business Procurement Forum, themed “Pathways to Prosperity, Empowering Local Entrepreneurs”
- December 6, 2024: Honored inspiring leaders and businesses at the Success in Business® 2024 Awards.
These efforts directly impacted over 2,500 small businesses and touched over 15,000 through advocacy, training, and events. Additionally, we launched a video podcast on YouTube, publishing over 10 episodes aimed at educating, equipping, and empowering entrepreneurs. Watch the recent episodes here.
However, as we look to the future, we face unprecedented challenges. The attacks on DEI programs threaten to dismantle the opportunities many businesses rely on. Success in Business® is committed to helping disadvantaged businesses navigate these challenges—through advocacy, education, and equipping them for success, even in the absence of these critical programs.
